From Horisaki’s one-of-a-kind collection, this khaki hat embodies a unique fusion of craftsmanship and artistic exploration. Carefully handcrafted, it balances traditional millinery with a bold, experimental take on shape and surface. The outcome is a sculptural piece- raw yet refined and deeply rooted in the process that brought it to life.
Crafted in beaver felt, it features a distinctive hard-burnt finish, an abstract skull design and Horisaki’s signature “H” mark. Stretch lining and ribbon trimming ensure comfort and fit, while intricate patchwork details set it apart as a truly unique creation.

Made in Sweden Material: Beaver fur felt
Each Horisaki piece begins with tradition-born from the time-honoured craft of hat making and shaped by skilled hands in the Swedish countryside. The process is slow and intentional, allowing space for the materials and environment to speak. Influenced by nature, history and quiet surroundings, these hats are made to be lived in, to age gracefully and to carry an evolving story. Designed to endure, crafted to matter.
Code:
Size guide : M (stretch band will allow this hat to fit smaller sizes) Size approx : 58.5cm Crown height approx: 14cm Brim size approx: 13cm
Shape & form: All hats are handmade and hand stitched. Variations in shape and form as well as measurements in brim and crown may occur. Measurements will also vary depending on how the hat is shaped by it’s wearer. No stiffening is used in the hat making process which makes the hats, soft and comfortable with good travel abilities.
Lining: Elastic / stretch band is developed by Horisaki to make the hats more easy to wear. It makes the hat sit very comfortably on your head and can be worn down in colder weather and / or as a detail. More flexible in size.
Care guide:
Dust & dirt: Use a hat brush to remove it from the surface of your hat.
Lint, hair or dust: Use a small lint roller or a piece of tape to remove dust and debris from your hat. Wrap the tape around your hand, sticky side out, and gently sweep and dab across the surface of your hat.
Grease stains: Sprinkle some corn starch directly onto it and rub it into the stain gently. After 5-10 minutes, brush it away to see if it has absorbed the stain
Stains: Use a gum eraser or clean makeup sponge and gently dab the stain (or smudge) to try to remove it. Mild stains can often be removed with a simple wet wipe, gently rub the stain and let it dry.
Clean the sweatband: If air drying the sweatband does not effectively freshen up your hat, you can wash it. Avoid getting water anywhere other than the sweatband. Use a toothbrush, water and a mild soap to gently scrub the sweatband. Carefully rinse the band and blot the hat dry.
Deep clean: To refresh your hat, sprinkle it with an absorbent powder. Choose a powder that is close to the color of your hat to avoid discoloration. Let the hat sit. Leave your hat for several hours to allow the powder to soak up dirt and oils efficiently. Remove the powder. Shake off as much of the absorbent powder as possible. Remove the rest of the powder by using a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
Darker hats – Wheat germ White hats – Baking soda Beige/tan hats – Corn meal
Reshape: Use a steamer or a pot of boiling water. Steam from the inside and help out with the gentle touch of your hand to rise to its original shape. Then let it cool off in the shape you want to keep it.
Protect: Waterproofing spray will increase the lifetime of your hat, keeping it more protected against rain. If your hat gets wet, make sure it dries in the shape you want to keep it in before applying waterproofing spray. Waterproofing is done on a completely dry piece.
