Snuggle into Luxury Knitwear this Winter

It’s a glorious day here at idaretobe HQ, the sun is shining and there’s a beautiful blue sky, but there’s also a definite chill in the air that says says winter is fast approaching. My three favourite things about winter are snuggling up in cosy winter woolies, lounging by roaring log fires and sipping hot chocolate, so I’m really excited about the gorgeous range of knitwear  we have this season.

When it comes to winter knits nothing else keeps you as warm or feels as luxurious as cashmere, so it’s worth investing in some quality pieces. Rundholz have some wonderful knitwear this season and for a true investment piece their mainline collection really delivers. The Exquisite Cashmere Knitted Coat available in black or blue ink is a beautiful piece with a cute hood for extra snuggliness whilst the Rubens Cashmere Knit Tunic Dress just envelopes you in luxury. On the subject of luxury, the Nelly Johansson Pansy Merino-Alpaca Cape just has to get a mention, a stylish oversized cocoon shape that’s heavenly to the touch.

Chic black and grey predominate but there’s colour too. Try Barbara Speer’s delectable Blackberry Merino Seamed Pullover or Yiannis Karitsiotis’ Bordeaux Oversized Wool Boucle Knit for some juicy berry shades. This season Rundholz have given us ‘Vulcano’ and ‘Rubens’, a deep blue and deep purple respectively. Try the Vulcano Softest Marl Knit Jumper for a chunky knit that’s soft and squishy yet cool and stylish.

Now we’re all about layering here at idaretobe and we’ve got some fabulous pieces from Moyuru that fulfil that brief. The sleeveless Drape Wool Cardigan or the short sleeved Black and Grey Wool Pullover are perfect for layering over a long sleeved tee. Or try the Nelly Johansson Madie Luxury Fine Wool Knit, a light as a feather fine knit pullover that can be layered under sleeveless tunics and dresses. Lastly, Kedziorek’s Grey Knitted Cigar Trouser in a cotton, wool and alpaca blend is the ultimate in luxurious casual weekend or lounge wear. Perfect for a brisk winter walk or for lounging by the fire with that hot chocolate.
